Large volume ferroconcrete silos for bulk products

CHEMADEX S.A. offers designing and construction on "turn-key" basis or as a general contractor ferroconcrete silos for storage following products:

• sugar
• ashes from power industry
• cereals
• clinker

and other loose materials.

Main features of the sugar silo are:

• 2 solutions of silo: with chamber under silo - sugar is received gravitationally or with underground canal - sugar is gathered up mechanically
• silo volume from 10 000 t to 65 000 t (can be also bigger)
• foundation: on ferroconcrete plate or on plate, framework and ferroconcrete pales (depends on ground conditions)
• silo chamber: made of prestressed concrete by steel cables in slide boarding technique
• thermal isolation - mineral wool, sheet screens and automatically controlled heat cables

Technical solutions, equipment and logistic system applied by CHEMADEX S.A. allow construct silo in very short time (10 -12 months). In our silos sugar can be stored long time without declining its parameters. Silos are low energy and heat consuming objects, fulfill safety conditions and adjusted to HAACP and others procedures.
